Lawmakers Pass Transformative Arkansas LEARNS Plan

Gov. Jeb Bush, Founder and Chairman of ExcelinEd in Action, issued the following statement applauding the passage of the Arkansas LEARNS Act:

“From pre-K to postgraduate, the Arkansas LEARNS Act will transform education for the Natural State’s nearly half a million students. This comprehensive approach serves as a model for all other leaders looking to reimagine learning and create an environment where families have options, where teachers are rewarded and where all students can gain the skills they need to achieve their full potential.  
 
“Great achievements do not happen without a committed team of champions. I congratulate Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Sen. Breanne Davis, Rep. Keith Brooks, the members of the Arkansas Legislature and Secretary Jacob Oliva for their bold leadership in adopting this far-reaching legislation that prioritizes students and families over outdated systems.”
