New Hampshire Legislature Passes Landmark Universal Education Freedom Accounts Expansion

New Hampshire

Patricia Levesque, Executive Director of ExcelinEd in Action, issued the following statement on the passage of New Hampshire’s universal Education Freedom Account expansion:

“After years of persistent effort, New Hampshire is delivering on its promise to put families first by extending eligibility for Education Freedom Accounts to all students. This action by the legislature is ensuring that all Granite State families—regardless of ZIP code or income—have access to high-quality learning options and the educational opportunities that best meet their children’s unique needs.

“This is a historic commitment to parents, educational flexibility and student success. Today, New Hampshire joins a growing number of states that are putting families in the driver’s seat when it comes to learning.

“We applaud Sen. Victoria Sullivan, Rep. Valerie McDonnell and all the state leaders who championed this expansion, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact on students and schools throughout the state.”
