Orlando Garcia is a Senior Policy and Legislative Analyst for ExcelinEd in Action. In this role, he supports the impact analysis of policies that bridge the digital divide, close learning gaps, empower families, strengthen pathways to college and career and reimagines learning. He also aids the advancement of student-centered policies in the northeastern states. Orlando previously worked in Government Affairs for the Florida Association of Counties and Broward County Government. Orlando earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics from Florida State University. During his spare time, he enjoys reading, spending time with family, traveling across the world and watching sports.
