Kylie Ellis is the Associate Director of Grassroots Advocacy for Florida. In this role, Kylie supports Florida advocacy strategies by activating school and parent leaders to advance school choice and education reform. Prior to joining ExcelinEd in Action, Kylie worked with IDEA Public Schools and Children's Home Society of Florida, supporting community engagement, advocacy, and family-focused initiatives aimed at expanding opportunities for children and families across Florida. Her work has centered on building strong relationships with school leaders, families, and community stakeholders to advance student-centered education policies and increase access to high-quality educational options. Kylie holds a Ph.D. from University of South Florida and is passionate about advancing educational opportunity from early learning through higher education. She is committed to supporting school choice and amplifying the voices of school leaders, families, and communities across Florida.
