Paige Nelson is a Deputy Legislative Director for ExcelinEd in Action. In this role, she aids the advancement of student-centered legislation across the West region. Before joining ExcelinEd, Paige served as a staff member to the Utah State Legislature in positions including as a university intern, a Legislative Assistant to the Utah Senate and as the Intern Program Coordinator for the branch. There she worked alongside passionate education advocates, assisting in shaping policies that support students and families. Paige graduated from Weber State University with a composite Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences. She lives in northern Utah and enjoys spending time in the mountains camping, fishing, hiking and off-roading.
